Homestay Family
Your Ecuadorian host family gives you the opportunity to be fully immersed in the Ecuadorian lifestyle. While settling in and learning a new language can be hard when you arrive in a foreign country, having the support of a local family and a connection to the local community can make all the difference.
All of our homestay families are located in the center of Montañita, no more than 10 minutes walking distance from our school. You will have a private room with a double bed, a mosquito net, a desk, a fan, and a small dresser. Of course, there is warm water, and WiFi.
If you are traveling with a friend, you can both live with the same family as they have plenty of space to hold two students. Meals are homemade Ecuadorian-style, and the families do their best to satisfy special dietary requirements, as both breakfast and dinner are provided.
