Spanish & Dive

A great way to see Ecuador is below the surface! This area of the Pacific coast has excellent diving opportunities. It is a great combination: Learn Spanish during the week and dive on the weekends! From Montañita you can explore on the weekends El Pelado, los Arhorcados and Copei.

If you are already an experienced Diver we suggest you take our package „Spanish & Dive“, Spanish classes from Monday to Friday and on the weekend two- tank dives. As well you can go for a higher PADI certification level (Advanced Open Water and Rescue Diver) or a speciality course like Underwater Photography.

Or did you ever think about becoming a PADI professional? Then book the Divemaster Course. It combines Spanish with becoming Divemaster. Spanish (after English) is the second most important language in the professional dive world. This course is increasingly popular and you will hardly find the combination of Spanish classes and a professional PADI course around the world. What better place than near the equator, with warm water, tropical fishes, whales, dolphins, soft and hard corals.

If you are a beginner we suggest that you take our Spanish & Open Water package. This includes 20 hours of group Spanish per week for 2 weeks and a full PADI Open Water Diver certification. Learn with our professional dive company to dive safely. This is a very popular package.

What can you expect to see during your dives?
Sergeant Major, Scrawled filefish, Puffer Fishes, Flute Mouth, Hogfish, Butterflyfishes, Cornet fish, Morays, Moray Eels, Angelfishes, Barberfishes, Boxfishes, Angelfishes, Surgeonfishes, Triggerfishes and Parrotfishes, as well different types of Rays and with some luck you spot a seahorse, a turtle or a guitar shark.

From June to September humpback whales are around, jumping around the boats and you can hear them singing under water.

The Dive Master course is a 4,5, 7 or 8 week course including full intern training, PADI licenses and up to 60 dives. Learn Spanish and become a dive professional working as a Dive Master!
