travelling classroom where you learn Spanish in four locations!
A unique 4 to 12 week program! You spend Monday to Friday learning Spanish (4 hours per day 20 hours in total), in the mornings, and in the afternoons become involved in a variety of interesting local Ecuadorian activities, indigenous experiences, or adventures!
The first destination is Quito, the capital and historic centre of Ecuador. Included in this segment are trips Mitad del Mundo (the 'centre of the centre of the world') , a magnificent natural hot pool. the indigenous market at Otavalo, and biking through the the stunning Cotopaxi National park.
Next stop is Cuenca, the UNESCO old historic colonial city. Here you enjoy the abundance of art and museums based in the colonial buildings, and the magnificent 275 lakes and nature that make up the Cajas National Park.
Then its on to funky and lively small town of Montanita. This is a main beach destination in Ecuador, and for good reason! . Here you will learn to surf and sample the amazing, the wildlife of Isla Del Plata, the important archaeological site of Agua Blanca, the stunning beach of Los Frailles, and whale watching (in season)
Last stop is the sea side city of Manta. From here can try a tandem paraglide, sample the local culture the optional additional activity of of kitesurfing, and as you return to Quito there is great white water rafting and staying at an old hacienda and the Mindo cloud forest
Then... its up to you. You can choose between returning for a week or more to you favourite location. To revisit friends you have made, and becoming more deeply more involved in your favourite activity. Or you can volunteer in one of the excellent project available (street kids, orphanages, schools etc) or even visit the world famous Galapagos islands!
